 Black, white and shades of grey. Contrast makes for the most appealing and moving artwork for me. The haunting quality can be exploited for spooky, fun inkwork or for serene, calming charcoal sketches. The lack of colour means the art has to really work, it's stripped back and laid bare and that makes for the most satisfying, moving pieces.
